There is no question that the male article on virginity lacks the "gravitas" of the article on female virginity(+ virginity in general), I imagine for all the same reasons that the concepts are valued differently in western culture.

But 童貞 seems to be the word for "male virgin", 童貞 isn't marked [col], and 〇〇喪失 seems to be an ordinary pairing for "loss of virginity" (male or female).

Marking this as [col]  gives the impression that this is slang for which there might be a better term available.  This doesn't appear to be the case.

Discussing 童貞喪失 is probably "inherently jocular" in most contexts, but I imagine this is the same as discussing the same topic in English.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>Marking it col suggests this word might not be appropriate in formal writing (and yes, a different expression would then be preferable). 損失 by itself doesn't have to be col for this to be col. 損失 uually refers to losing money or profits so it being coupled with "virginity" here is a little odd. I haven't delved super deep into this but col does seem appropriate here to me.</upd_detl>
