<upd_detl>Very commonly glossed as "luxury goods". If you ask reverso for translations of "luxury goods", it's 50/50 this and 高級品。

To add to my comment on 奢侈品, it might actually be worth adding (back) "non-essential item" to both entries. 高級品 and 贅沢品 are both "luxury item" as in "expensive item". But 高級品 just means "expensive"(could be expensive vegetables, or an expensive toothbrush). Between these two, only this term has the sense of extravagant/unnecessary (judging only on the kanji, anyway, that would be my impression). ( 高級品 is also glossed as high-end, high-grade, etc.)

On the other hand, what I think I really want is an expl or note of some kind. I still don't see 贅沢品 actually *glossed* as non-necessity in the real world.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>"goods" is fine. We rarely use "(s)" in glosses.
Regarding Brian's suggestion to add "non-essential item", my impression is that 贅沢品 and "luxury item/goods" have the same nuance so I don't see the need for an additional gloss.</upd_detl>
