daij/nikk do list the kanji for いかんとも
which has a similar meaning but "（多くあとに打消しを表す語を伴っ

<upd_detl>Daijr has いかんとも/如何とも: "（あとに打ち消し表現を伴って）どうにも。". Certainly どうにも is not really the same as どうとも. I think a separate entry is safer.</upd_detl>
