振替出勤とは、勤務日と休日を入れ替え、本来休日である日に通常の勤務日と同じように勤務することです。

振替出勤は、あらかじめ休日に出勤するとわかっている場合に、休日を労働日として働き、別の日を休日に振り替える制度です。つまり、労働日と休日が入れ替わります。
