Maybe プリフィックス can be added there.</upd_detl>
<upd_refs>Daijr has プリフィックス as the English "prefix" and プリフィクス as the French "prix fixe"

Daijs has プリフィクス as "prix fixe" and says 「プリフィックス」とも. Its entry for プリフィックス says "prefix" but redirects to プレフィックス (note: レ instead of リ)

Sankoku has both プリフィックス and プリフィクス as "prix fixe" and doesn't mention "prefix."

<upd_detl>Yes, the Japanese references are all over the place.
We need to split "prix fixe" and "prefix" on the source term. I propose basing our entries on the プリ/プレ difference and having the other forms as [sk]. It's taking the high ground a bit, the alternatives are very messy.
(We could have second senses with xrefs in the two プリ/プレ entries. Would that help?)</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>None of the references seem to have "prix fixe" for the プレ* forms, so I don't think any hidden forms are needed on this entry at least.

Judging by sankoku's entry and the wikipedia article above, I suspect that the プリ* forms are pretty marginal for "prefix." I'd say it's probably okay to keep them hidden on that entry.</upd_detl>
