<upd_detl>I did wonder about that, but the kokugos redirect from "pH" to 水素イオン指数, and 水素イオン指数 is the title of the Japanese Wikipedia article on pH.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>I don't think the xref is a lot of use. Japanese people tend to use "pH", and I think it's more often read ペーハー than ピー・エイチ, although the latter is what the JEs like. GG5 points pH/ペーハー to pH/ピー・エイチ.</upd_detl>
