<upd_detl>The terms I see most commonly are フェイクニュース, 偽ニュース/嘘のニュース and 虚偽ニュース.

The "fake news" Donald Trump loves to complain about is sometimes translated as "虚偽報道" (see ref) but this is quite different from what most people understand by the term "fake news" (that is, completely made-up stories that don't come from news organisations).</upd_detl>
