下半身を固定するために、内股全体(あるいは一部)でタンクを挟み込むこと。教習所でも習うことだが、うまくバイクに乗るコツともいうべき技術で、ニーグリップをすることでバイクは安定する。また、上半身に余計な力が入らなくなるので、ハンドル操作や体重移動などもしやすくなる。</upd_refs>
