<upd_detl>This is my first addition, so apologies if the formatting is wrong! 無段 and 無段者 are both common words in martial arts to refer to people who have not yet attained 初段. While 無段者 refers to a person (as is the direct antonym of 有段者), 無段 by itself refers to the "lack of rank", e.g. Person A is ２段, Person B is 初段, Person C is 無段.</upd_detl>
