<upd_detl>Hi, methinks this needs a revision: the source is, of course, French "gourmet", but judging by what i see (in touristic magazines and on websites) the term グルメ as a noun usually doesn't refer to a "gourmet" (a person) but to the food one can enjoy in a given place (region, etc.) - exactly as we use the word "cuisine". As an adjective, in expressions like グルメ食品, it connotes "speciality", "refined", "high quality", etc. - not your typical, every day or family food... :-)
Maybe the other dictionaries you have at hand can shed some light on this...?
Note: the interface gave me an error until i removed the [lsrc=fre:] after "gourmet" that you have in the entry - that should be there, of course, and i'm not sure what the problem is...</upd_detl>
