<upd_refs>The ペイパイ reading seems to originate from the 日本大百科全書 entry on weblio. I don't see it used anywhere else.

I also found one club's website that says the Chinese reading is ペュパイ rather than ペイパイ:

I think Chinese readings for mahjong terms like this are mostly rather dubious and unnecessary.</upd_refs>
