<upd_detl>In the text which I was reading it used "疑ぐる". I searched around and found the following:-
疑ぐるような表情 【？】 skeptical expression; WI4 
疑ぐるような表情で 【？】 with a dubious expression; WI4
Also Google hits are about 4k [not many], but I concluded that my book was not simply in error. Various dictionary sources show the same [ejje.weblio.jp, excite.co.jp], but not much else is at hand.</upd_detl>
