<upd_detl>I came across this written as "4ぬ"
"ここって今でも遊泳禁止で
泳ごうものなら軽犯罪法違反で連行される
警官に文句言うと 4にたいのか!!とマジで言われる"
http://blog.goo.ne.jp/mistgan999/e/99c6766b54fc26877391d6e3d

The ngram thingy won't parse it properly but it gets a
number of googits.
Here's some examples:
"早く4にたいです。助けて下さい。毎日ただ働いて帰って寝るだけなんです。"
http://sooda.jp/qa/471771
"ゲームしないと4ぬ病"

<upd_detl>Yes, I didn't include numerics in the n-grams subset I put on that server. I think if 4ぬ is to get in an entry it would be best in its own one tagged "sl" and xrefed to 死ぬ.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>Rene pointed out in a comment on 1582220 that 死ぬ is marked as sens because it's included in the list of words banned by NHK.
I don't think this is an appropriate use of the sens tag. 死ぬ is an everyday word that's used all the time without causing offence, even when referring to people. It would definitely sound blunt/disrespectful in certain contexts (which is why NHK have it on their list), but I don't think that's enough to warrant a sens tag.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>yes, removing sens from this but leaving it on the "freeze to death" (etc.) entries makes some sense to me, because those seem a little too graphic. although we should perhaps check with a native speaker.</upd_detl>
