<upd_detl>I have not amended the above because my searching may be off key, but it seems to be the case that the "かる" part is represented by the kanji "借る". That on first look seems odd, but in Google searching, that is the kanji which comes up in many instances alongside your main entry. If that is not a simple error on my part, I wonder if the "kanji reading" of "打つ借る" can be added to provide greater understanding. Your separate entry for the “借る” is as follows:-

借る 【かる】 (v5r,vt) (1) (ksb:) (See 借りる) to borrow; to have a loan; (2) to rent; to hire

My apologies if I am off key.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>打つ借る gets one WWW hit. All the 国語字典 either have ぶつかる or 打つかる. It may once have been written 碰る (33 hits, many bogus), but that is an old kanji.
You now have me wondering about 打つ借り. It gets 113 hits; almost all from EDICT.</upd_detl>
