No other dictionary (i.e. daij, nikk, prog, gg5) splits like this. GG5 has 
【哲】 (an) antinomy ( antinomic adj.); 《口》an either-or situation.
but the 口 here applies to the English wording of course, and doesn't really suggest a separate sense of the Japanese word that is 
colloquial. 
(what I'm saying is, if there should be two senses, which I'm not sure there should be, I'm not sure the second sense should be tagged
