<upd_detl>Do we need this? I think it needs to be translated as a sentence. "Nothing" is a pronoun, and "empty" only works when it's used prenominally (e.g. 何もない部屋).
But a literal translation makes the entry a bit pointless in my view.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>I think it's worth keeping -it's common and has 63 sentences linked to it.
When Paul Blay proposed it in 2007 he commented that it could possibly have more glosses. I see that most of the 63 have it as "nothing: in some form, e.g.
私の邪魔をするものは何もない。 There is nothing to hinder me.
我々には行く手をさえぎるものは何もない。 Nothing bars our way.
Almost all examples have it at the end of the sentence, which may be worth a note.
Interestingly, in the two sentences where it is glossed as "empty" it is not prenominal:
その部屋には使い古したベッドのほかは何もなかった。 The room was empty except for a shabby bed.
倉庫には家具が一つの他には何もなかった。 The warehouse was empty except for a piece of furniture.</upd_detl>
