<upd_detl>vs-s don't conjugate as ~さない. they conjugate as a regular する verb. the reason 愛する *appears* to conjugate as 愛さない is because of the verb 愛す, which is conjugating as v5s. many/most vs-s verbs (~する) have v5s (す) counterparts

AFAICT, this entry is okay</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>Considering that 愛する is 10 times as common as 愛す
and 愛さない is 10 times as common as 愛しない,
it seems a bit awkward to say that 愛しない is the negative form of 愛する
and 愛さない is the negative form of 愛す.
----
Here is my proposed solution.
Create a single conjugation table for [vs-s] and [vs-c].
Something like this:
    plain: 愛する, 愛す
    polite: 愛します
    negative: 愛さない, 愛しない
    neg. polite: 愛しません
    past: 愛した
    ...
Link both [vs-s] and [vs-c] verbs to this table.
This is the approach adopted in jwiki(サ行変格活用)</upd_detl>

愛す 886979
愛さない 38302
愛しない 2364</upd_refs>

<upd_detl>This discussion is best conducted elsewhere.
Many of the "vs-c" verbs are also tagged "v5s" and get handled that way. The "vs-s" verbs need further work.</upd_detl>
