<upd_refs>Obviously gets a lot of usage in relation to things like "Time's
Person of the Year," but I think this is becoming more popular in a
colloquial / slang sense to mean something like "incredibly" or
"extremely" (眠いオブザイヤー;かわいいオブザイヤー). I don't know if
that needs to be explicitly documented in an entry here, but I thought
it would be worth mentioning. A twitter search brings up a ton of
hits.
