I don't think just "twins" is really correct, despite gg5.

<upd_detl>I mean the daijr def is "the state of having two fetuses in the womb at the same time". And yeah the best translation for that is probably "twin pregnancy"</upd_detl>

Maybe safest to have both.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>It might get translated as "twins" in some compound nouns but the specific meaning is "[having] [unborn] twins [in one's womb]" if we go by what's in the kokugos etc. So having it just as "twins" without further context seems misleading.</upd_detl>
