<upd_detl>I think this is better. The English term is much broader, so we shouldn't have ラガード = laggard.</upd_detl>

I disagree, in this specific field/theory or ehatever the usual English term appears to be "laggard". "late adopter" can be confused with "late majority" also, which is a different group.</upd_refs>

<upd_detl>Yes, but that's just one meaning of "laggard" in English; it's a word that's been in use since the 18th century and basically means a person who trails behind others.
