<upd_detl>I'm moving the discussion here from the (deleted) 2853906 proposal. Some questions:
-  Anthony, quoting the モノのなまえ辞典 reported that sense 1 is from 鉄砲ザル. Should/cold that go here as a note?
- is there a real reference for sense 2? I can't find it in 日本国語大辞典 or anywhere else.
- sense 3 should be in its own entry, if indeed it is valid at all.
I wouldn't mind dropping senses 2 and 3.</upd_detl>
