<upd_detl>We haven't discussed this on github or elsewhere as far as I'm aware so I don't think that's an established policy as much as it's a function of Meikyo not tagging words like these as vs in the first place.
I'm not seeing the point in leaving it out? Even if it's the case vs on adv are always vi (whixh I'm not sure is the case), I think this should be made explicit, our users shouldn't have to guess.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>Many (if not most) する adverbs describe a state, functioning more like adjectives, either attributively as 〜(と)した or predicatively as 〜(と)している. I don't think transitivity tags would be appropriate in these cases. For the rest, they're probably not needed given that all する adverbs are intransitive (as far as I know), which should be clear from the glosses. If it's not clear, the glosses probably need improving.</upd_detl>

Probably usually the case but not always. I don't mind marking these sorts of entries with vi/vt as appropriate.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>(only ムズムズ on that list is what we're specifically talking about here)
I don't think there's an innate rule that says a スル adv can't be vt, although I'm hard-pressed to come up with one that isn't. But くんくん for example has one を-して example on reverso (out of 7).
But even if there is indeed such a rule, and all of these スル adv can only be vi, I would expect that only a minority of our users would be aware of that, so I think we should still mark them as vi.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>I don't think vi on adverb entries is helpful in most cases. It doesn't tell you whether the word is used like a regular verb or just adjectivally as 〜した/〜している.
I wouldn't object to including it on entries where we lead with vs (like this one).</upd_detl>
