既存不適格建築物というのは、法令等が改正されることにより生じる問題で、既に建っている建物のうち、改正後の新しい規定に適合しないものをさします。建物
を建てた時点では、法令の規定を満たして建てているのですが、その後の法令などの改正により既存不適格建築物となってしまうのです。</upd_refs>
