<upd_detl>やめておく→やめとく(common contraction)→やめとき (common ksb "mild imperative")
Nothing irregular about this expressiom but it's likely the most common example of this type of construction by far, it's interjection-like and beginners have to jump through 2 hoops to figure this one out (they have to find the とく;どく entry and the く→き mild ksb imperative isn't covered by any current entry and is not a conjugation that's usu covered by any of the apps/dics built on top of jmdict).
Somewhat related to せんといて which is already an entry</upd_detl>

止めとき 49920
止めときな 2900
やめとけ 148087 (easier to figure out as く→け is a standard Japanese imperative)
