<upd_detl>I thought I made this suggested correction yesterday but perhaps I didn’t do something right.  Anyway, one of my Japanese language tutors has a son she named 怜恩.  According to my tutor, who is from Kobe but lives now in Osaka, 怜恩 is a male name not a female name 99.99999% of the time (her words).  Today I checked to see if the correction was agreed upon and see that my entry vanished but also noticed that the pronunciation may have an issue.  My tutor wrote レオン as the pronunciation, but Mac OS recognizes it as れいおん.

Also she informed me that all the various different kanji versions used to write this name are also male and not female.  I noticed in a quick glance that they all seem to be marked as female.</upd_detl>
