Jim: I suspect it's sense 2 being used in a rather idiomatic way. I can't see that that quote by itself is enough to support a new sense. I haven't been able to identify the pattern elsewhere,

<upd_detl>Google Chrome (and possibly other browsers) inserts a line break when text wraps to the next line (which happens a lot when editing on a mobile device because text boxes are narrower). We actually just discovered what was causing this and the fix will become active soon.</upd_detl>
