<upd_detl>if i'm not mistaken, we generally either do it this way (i.e., katakana is not [nokanji] because it's gairaigo, those are ateji, and the katakana represents the actual reading of the kanji), or else we go with an "also written as".  [ik] for the hiragana form?</upd_detl>
