<upd_detl>It's possibly a fair guess that the old Long March rocket was called 長征 in Japanese, but I'd like to see evidence of it. That reference (the English Wikipedia article) doesn't mention it. The Japanese Wikipedia entry for 長征 only mentions the historical event.
If there;s no real evidence for the sense in a week or so, I'll drop it.</upd_detl>
