<upd_detl>I think it's useful for learners, who might not necessarily know how it can be productive.
It's also useful to have as a fallback for when we don't have the term. For example, mecab/unidic
(unsurprisingly) breaks up 「ジャズる」 into ジャズ + る. The text glossing on wwwjdic also picks up ジャズ
separately.</upd_detl>
