<upd_detl>* Add pos [adj-no] (GG5 only gives this form)
* Add 湯桶読み reading つつじょう
Used by teacher in class, and gets a substantial number of hits. Probably more used in speech (since とうじょう is ambiguous, while つつ is unambiguous and 〜状(じょう) is productive), while とう more used in compounds such as 円筒状(えんとうじょう).
A note reading:
[note="つつじょう esp. in speech"]
might be useful on this note.
* BTW, while dicts generally don’t have an entry for this term, they certainly use 筒状 and 円筒状 widely in their text; presumably 〜状 is considered obviously productive to native speakers.</upd_detl>
