also suggests "ノマド族" as a synonym, which is funny as you might assume it meant "nomad tribe"
I think ノマド just by itself now refers to digital nomads 9/10 in modern parlance. (see the image results)</upd_refs>

<upd_detl>a difference between a ノマドワーカー and a "digital nomad" that might be worth noting somehow is that when you're talking of "digital 
nomads" in English, you're generally talking about people living outside of their home countries in places like Thailand etc., but in 
Japan it's more of a "location independent person who works at cafes"
