<upd_detl>Re "implying it's time for the guest to leave", I don't really think it's a meaning of the term. It's the offering that's the implication; not the bubuzuke itself.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>I really think that's putting too much onto the word itself, which AFAICT is used far more often without that nuance, and hence that usage note is misleading. Perhaps if there was an entry for something like ぶぶ漬けでもいかがどす the nuance could be recorded there.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>We normally don't include the Japanese at all unless it's reasonably common. "bubuzuke" isn't reasonably common in English (or honestly,
