<upd_detl>i question whether this is common enough to get the tag.  generally isn't it just used as a part of words that would normally make it into the dictionary on their own?  unlike だい, i think this is really more of a 造語 (as indicated in shinmeikai and meikyo) than a generally productive prefix worthy of the spec1 tag, no?</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>So my thinking is we often don't add words that are just prefixed by おお or だい because they're obvious constructions, but if we don't 
include them, the least we could do for users trying to look them up is to make sure おお and だい come before たい ("nth year in Taisho").
I also think the usage of おお and だい in various such constructions is common enough to warrant spec1, though you could of course say 
it's already covered by various other tags in the specific おお- and だい- entries, but I do think they should count as well, which would 
make this an obvious candidate for spec1.</upd_detl>
