<upd_detl>I think our normal style would be to make this another sense of が, with the comment "after the volitional form of a verb".
The volitional forms of most verbs do not even end with よう.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>Ideally, yes, but I'm a bit loathe  to delete a 10+yo entry which has 25 sentences linked to it. I've proposed an extra sense to our が entry and linked to it.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>I've been thinking about this entry for a while and my feeling is that it should probably go.
It's not really an expression but a grammar point. ようが is just one example of the volitional form.
I know there are sentences linked to it but I think this is better explained by a grammar dictionary. I note we don't have ようと, which is used in exactly the same way.</upd_detl>
