What would you call this?

<upd_detl>In the UK, Australia & New Zealand it's often a "market garden". I think in the US they call it a "truck garden".
The JEs also have "kitchen garden", which is really a term for a small domestic garden. Since the images for 野菜畑 are mostly for larger-scale operations, I omitted that.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>not sure "market garden" (or its US equivalent "truck garden")
really corresponds to the most common use of 野菜畑
which we agree is "land used for large-scale commercial vegetable production"
----
I still think "field of vegetables" is the most accurate translation,
even if not the most elegant
compare the www images for 野菜畑 and "field of vegatables"</upd_detl>
