is often used to say that 'I did see/hear correctly' or 'It was not a trick of
my senses' or 'It was not just my imagination'.

f.ex. 「いた、やっぱり女の子がいたよ。俺の耳に狂いは無かったな。」

(gg5 adds a separate sense for this, but IMO their glosses are no more helpful than the ones here).  if it's felt that they are not obvious, 耳に狂いはない etc. could be submitted as new entries, but they may be more appropriate as example sentences</upd_detl>
