<upd_detl>Should we be using quotation marks for on and kun for readings? If so there are about 8 other entries containing them.
We don't put other ローマ字 in quotes.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>It might not be the best approach. I just think that "popularly accepted on reading" is somewhat confusing to read.
Are there any alternatives?</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>i haven't looked at the other entries, but i agree that "on" could be confusing without the quotation marks. i think we should standardize on:

"on" reading
  or
on-yomi / on'yomi</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>OK, let's use "on" when the gloss is otherwise a bit ambiguous. I'll go through and add them where I think it's needed. Something like:
重箱読み;重箱読(io) [じゅうばこよみ] /(n) (See 湯桶読み) mixed on-kun reading/
is probably OK.</upd_detl>
