I don't think all the ...が... and ...を... expression need to be translated as infinitive verbs. In this case 今をときめ seems to be mostly used pre-nominally:
GG5: 今を時めく大スター a mega-star whose name is on everyone's lips
GG5: 今を時めく人気歌手 a singer at the peak of her popularity
中辞典: 彼は今を時めく歌手だ. He is one of the most popular singers today.

<upd_detl>My opinion is that all [exp,(verb)] entries should be the in infinitive form to the extent it's possible, but I'm happy to gloss it as 
an adjective if the usage warrants putting an adj-f first, which I'd say is the case here. Actually it seems to hardly even conjugate 
at all so it's probably fine to even remove the v5k.</upd_detl>
