<upd_detl>Source the misspelling?  I used to get a lot of emails from people looking it up that way and not finding it, and there have been attempts/requests to add it. I didn't want to enshrine ろにん in the 浪人 entry so I created this one.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>So it's just a misspelling by learners of Japanese? I'd argue we should delete it. Having it as an entry implies that Japanese people make this mistake.</upd_detl>

I think it's worth keeping. The "ik" and note are warning enough. The guides to lexicography usually have advice such as "a dictionary must be, above all, useful."</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>I'd be surprised if any of those instances of ろにん refer to 浪人. I can't find any evidence that this reading is used.
I still think it's unnecessary and misleading to include misspellings that are only made by non-native speakers.

<upd_detl>We have 5 "misspelling" entries (G n-grams above). If ろにん goes, I think ロマンジ and 願わくわ can too, but probably  こんにちわ and こんばんわ should stay as they get a lot of slang usage in Japan.
On reflection I have no real problem with ろにん going; it's probably reached its use-by date.</upd_detl>
