<upd_detl>I must mention that this is in gg5. koj also has an example with に乗せられる. There are also some real hits (about 2) www.asahi-net.or.jp/~an4s-okd/sss/ss02902.htm I'm very surprised at how uncommon this is.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>including something in a dictionary doesn't mean it's idiomatic; it could just be an example of use that came to the writer's head (and there's lots of copying between japanese dictionaries from what i can tell).
"甘口に乗せられる" gets 9 hits, all look edict-derived but one.  "甘口に乗せられた", which is the form you'd expect it to be used in, gets 0.  "甘口に乗った" also gets 0</upd_detl>
