<upd_detl>suggest rejecting 薄皮をはぐように and giving it its own entry if it is deemed common enough.  i don't think the source is suggesting that this has the same reading, merely that it is misused to have the same meaning.  therefore it fails the 2/3 test.  (looking at the readings of the two words and the many other examples on that page seems to confirm this)  fwiw, all kokugos have this as 薄紙を剥ぐよう[adj-na]</upd_detl>
