That is very interesting; and shows up the dangers of blindly combining
the common and formal names of countries!

I see Wikipedia has separate entries, but Wordnet, MLSN, Japanese
Wordnet, etc. have a single entry. Wandering off-topic a bit, I'm trying
to work out how to fix MLSN; how do they fit into a hierarchy?

Netherlands:
   instance_of: European country
   part_of: Europe
   part_of: Kingdom of the Netherlands

Kingdom of the Netherlands:
   is_a: country
Or is it more like the EU, i.e.:
   is_a: World Organization
(this category includes the British Commonwealth, and the CIS, so
seems like a good fit?)

Which is part of the EU and Nato, Netherlands or the Kingdom of the
Netherlands? And is Kingdom of the Netherlands part of a continent?
Is an inhabitant of the Kingdom of the Netherlands still a Netherlander?
