Hi All,

I think we had this discussion for 木の葉, but now it's time for 木の下.

The following sentences are all, currently, linked to

木の下 【このもと; このした】 (exp) (arch) under a tree

Would I be correct in assuming that all the examples below, with
the possible exception of the first two, would be read as きのした /
きのもと rather than このした / このもと ?  At least by those of the
younger generation.
