Re: [edict-jmdict] Vocabulary Relationships and Important Links
G'day,
Nice ideas.

I have generated a list of 51,302 antonym pairs from the Japanese WordNet (Bond et al. 2008)
The whole thing should be released real soon now (^_^).
The list is just pairs, like this:
Note that it links core uses (熱い 寒い) and metaphorical uses (熱い 無愛想).
Please feel free to use it as a basis for adding antonym links.
I would also very much appreciate feedback on individual entries. Please email it directly to me <bond@********>, unless you feel it is especially relevant to Edict.

We have some of these in the JACY lexicon, I could provide a list on request:
agaru_intrans-stem := intrans-c-stem-lex &
[ STEM < "上る" >,
SYNSEM.LKEYS.KEYREL.PRED "_agaru_v_inchoative_rel" ].
agaru_trans-a-stem := v1-c-stem-lex &
[ STEM < "上がる" >,
SYNSEM.LKEYS.KEYREL.PRED "_agaru_v_causative_rel" ].

This is also one of my wishlists, I would be happy to produce a list of potential new entries, but I would expect there to be some tens of thousands. I think some kind of strategy for automatic validation would be useful.

I must admit I like a little color in my links、although I am not sure it improves it here:
寒い 【さむい(P); さぶい】 (adj-i) (ant: 暑い) cold (e.g. weather); (P) [Ex][jeKai][G][GI][S][A][W]
I can no longer stand the cold.[F]
I look forward to it being clickable,
