Re: [edict-jmdict] Suggestions to Improve Layout

Hoping this email doesn't get buried under the Google heap of accumulated emails on the subject, I have attached a separate MS-Word page of suggested clarifications of the new "Customize Page".

Hope it helps,

Dennis

Thanks to the juxtaposition of Google emails, I did not see Jim's post regarding the "oddness" of IE with regard to centering. Quite honestly, I don't care enough either way to make it a continuing issue.

I have fiddled the vertical alignment a bit, although it's looks a bit odd in IE7 (better in FF2). - I'll pull it up in FF2 and have a look. So much in bed with MS that I have hestitated to go to FF2 'cause I'm not disatisfied with IE7 -- other than the fact that it may be hogging my RAM.

I'll send you my "Questions" about the Customize Page (by the end of the day) and how some of the choices might be helped with some clarification.

Still think a logo and a picture of Dr. Breen would do much to personalize the site.

Sorry for the confused and redundant emails,

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "floating". The Menu Bar is intended to
span the whole screen. I have fiddled the vertical alignment a bit, although
it's looks a bit odd in IE7 (better in FF2). Also IE7 for some reason didn't
have all the menu in Helvetica, but I've fixed that.

Fine. Look forward to seeing the comments.

Look forward to them too.
