Probably. When it has a choice of two or more equal-ranking versions,
it will select the longest, which in the case of バラ is the
"バラ (n) (abbr) bulk storage" entry. I get around this by having
a small "specials" group at a higher ranking than EDICT entries into
which I have just put: "バラ /(n) (1) rose/(2) (abbr) bulk storage/".
