We're only accepting connections from certain IP ranges. If it's not
in the wrappers, you won't connect.
It's a little hard to understand why this extreme level of paranoia is
necessary for something as mundane as an online dictionary project.
Are people really worried that teams of expert hackers are going to
log in to the arakawa machine from rogue IP addresses and start
changing the dictionary definition so that "neko" means "dog" or
something? I've been using SSH based on password access and the
automatic key to access my web hosts from varying IP addresses for
more than a year without problems. Even my online bank account doesn't
require this kind of thing.
Anyway, at this point I'd like to withdraw my request for an account
on the machine.
