I'm reasonably happy with the proposed split of 上げる/挙げる/揚げる, so I've been working away at the indexing of the 500+ sentences using them. I think they can now go live, and I can check the results next week when the new index file is released.
I note that some sentences have 上げる where our new structure has 挙げる, and vice versa. There are only a couple.

Any refs for the "to send someone away" sense? I didn't see it. Removed for now

I've now changed the sense ordering, not 1:1 to what ChatGPT proposed. I'm inspired by approaches like prog's, where the first four senses are grouped as they all relate to something physically moving.
On the other hand there are approaches like GendaiSK's, where the senses referring to something "going higher" are put first.
I just think that senses like "to do up one's hair" shouldn't be as high as they were previously.
I welcome suggestions, especially if something seems off

I think this 3-way split is fine. 中辞典 does it that way.
The xref from 呉れる should be to the current sense 7. We swapped senses some years ago.
A big task will be to redo the indices for the 500+ sentences. Fortunately almost all have the sense numbers tagged so it can be done using global edits. It can be left until this edit set is completed.

There don't seem to be opposing opinions.

I think I meant to keep 騰げる visible, but it may as well be hidden with a note on the "increase..." sense. Then the last few restrictions can be dropped
It's even rarer here than for あがる

This seems like a drastic reduction at first, but I'm sure it will even out again when I'll go through similar senses. As some of them are probably not in here yet.

There's currently an xref from 呉れる to this entry but it's already misaligned, was it supposed to ref to the "to give" sense (6)?

I did add the second meaning of not worrying about sneezing very deliberately here. For me it seems like different people interpret the expression differently. Have a look at these two quotes from the sources I linked before as reference for the second meaning:

I first encountered this expression in a VTuber's live chat. The meaning seems to be pretty nuanced and not easy to translate. The first source I looked at (https://dic.pixiv.net/a/くしゃみ助かる) suggested the meaning is similar to "Bless you" in English. On a surface level it might seem like that's the case because it's also used after a sneeze, but after reviewing more sources and also thinking about how it appeared to me, I think those two meanings from above seem to be more accurate.
