Almost all kokugos give "開いた花の一つ。", not just 花の一つ. The JEs don't seem to reflect that, but I encountered the new sense a while back and was a bit confused as to why this word was even used if there's no meaning to it besides just "one flower".

It seems 贈り名 is emerging to be the new dominant form of this word. Most of the kokugos tend to list 諡 second or in brackets (Smk as a notable exception, as it has only 諡 as a headword and a とも note for 贈り名).

Massif has 16 sentences for this word, 9 use 贈り名, and 4 use 諡, none use 謚. None of the senteces are older than 2013.

Out of the JEs Prog, Wisdom and GG5 have only 贈り名.
