Almost all kokugos give "開いた花の一つ。", not just 花の一つ. The JEs don't seem to reflect that, but I encountered the new sense a while back and was a bit confused as to why this word was even used if there's no meaning to it besides just "one flower".

I think this is better and also that the "a" is sort of necessary here.

I think it is okay here because this term, unlike the general 伊万里焼, refers to a specific kind of this Imari porcelain as crafted during the mid-Edo period. It seems difficult to actually draw a line here, but I'd be fine with this being [hist] and the more general 伊万里焼 not being [hist].

I'm just saying that these things are household items in the same way ming vases are in the west - ordinary people own them for their ornamental value even today
